Live from the Viva & Manchester United Media Coverage

Although we started an hour late, the event is great so far.

Update:

Last Thursday we were invited by VIVA to attended the launch and press conference of their new big thing, the exclusive sponsoring of Manchester United in the Middle East.
Although the event started and hour late and we were getting restless in our seats, it was a great night.
It started of with the Holy Grail, the Barclays Cup! Right there in the middle of the exhibition hall in 360 Mall, it still looked as glorious!
The masterminds behind the whole venture were introduce to start explaining the deal and what surprises VIVA clients will experience with this partnership.
Mr. Salman Al Badran, CEO of VIVA stated that they will be the exclusive sponsors of Manchester United in the Middle East for the next 5 years. This means that VIVA will provide their clients with various Manchester United merchandise and offers as well as the opportunity to attend Man. Utd. Games next season. They will also be opening up the opportunity for Kuwaiti youth to train in the Man.U football school.
The most exciting thing ever was that the Manchester United legend Mr. Bryan Robson was there! He seemed even more humble and great than in any interview I’ve seen. He talked about how excited he was as a representative of Man Utd to be in Kuwait and reveal this partnership with VIVA. He said that between the 330 million Man Utd fans around the world, a large number of that is in the Middle East and this is a great opportunity for them to get connect with their fans and show them gratitude for their support.
The rest of the team that made this event happen are Mr. Omar Al Houti, PR Manager of VIVA and Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim, the Marketing Manager. For Manchester United, Mr. Nick Humphrey the International Relations Manager.
When we first came in we were given small coupons with numbers on them, and at the end of the night there was a draw on 2 tickets to the Man Utd Vrs Tottenham game. The first guy who won was blogger Banana Kuwait! And the second was Mike Imbalta3 from Marina FM, I guess his passion for football was awarded this time! 🙂
VIVA really out did themselves this time and they’re seriously making me think of becoming one of their clients because I’m a huge Man Utd fan! The event was great, and I can’t wait to see their offers kick start.
We would like to thank VIVA for the invitation and congratulate them on the successful night, they got us all intrigued. Good Luck Guys!

Due to technical difficulties (my card readers not working) pictures will be uploaded soon, hopefully!

Pregnancy Week 33… The Whale Syndrome

Ok guys I haven’t posted about my pregnancy for a while now cause each week I hope the next I would have nice things to say :p Now at 33 weeks I give up and I will confess that I’m acting like a very hormonal pregnant women!

I’m suffering from what I call the “whale syndrome” when I lay down I feel like those poor whales that get washed up on shore and are stuck there till someone moves them.. Although my weight is below the average weight I should be, I still feel SO heavy!! I don’t know how women with big bumps can walk around. Before I managed to glide and keep my grace while walking, now I waddle around (its so funny! I laugh at myself if I see my reflection in a window while walking). I keep on bumping into things coz my brain keeps forgetting that I’ve got new dimensions now. And with the baby dropping, it makes me want to walk around lifting my bump up coz I keep feeling like I’m gonna fall flat on my face!

I heard that the 8th month is the hardest and the 9th is much easier, I can’t seem to believe that and I’m sure its part of the “pregnant women code” that they lie to first time mummies to make them feel better, along with “giving birth is not so bad” and “you never looked more beautiful”. But at least with this lie I’m trying to stay positive and hope that 2 weeks from now when I’m in my 9th month I’ll be able to do ballet :p

I’m sounding like a drama queen adri but as I keep telling my friends, I’ve been the best pregnant friend you have for the past 8 months, now you have to deal with my drama :p

My dearest baby, I love you so so much and I’m sorry I’m sharing with the world the ugly things your doing to me, but be assured that everytime I feel you move inside me I smile in my heart and I thank god for putting you there.

My dearest King, thank you for being the sweetest and most supportive husband a woman could wish for. Thank you for cheering me up when I’m down and calming the baby when I’m trying to sleep. I hope I could be as supportive to you as you are to me. I love you.

My dearest friends, thank you for making me feel that even when I’m 8 months pregnant I can still live my life like any other 24 year old. Love you guys.

Kuwait Beats Philippines !

Kuwait played yesterday against Philippines in Al-Qadsiya stadium for the World Cup Qualifications with a final score of 3-0 for Kuwait.
Kuwait’s playing wasn’t very satisfiying and seemed they have to be more ready for the games to come, and especially when it seemed that Philippines missed alot of chances to score with numerous shots hitting the bars.
Goals scored were from Yousif Nasser with a beautiful cross from Fahad Al Anizi (17), second goal with a fumble from Misaed Nida (13), and a outstanding kick from Fahad Al Ansari (11).
Wish Kuwait the best of luck on their away game while will be held in the Phillipines on Thursday 28th of July. OOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooOoooooooooooo yal Azrag ………….
