I came across this amazing website http://ilovebritto.com/. I’ve always been a fan of pop-culture art and if you’re like me this is the website for you! Founded by the modern pop-culture icon Romereo Britto, the website sells everything from the cutest painted figurines, which im getting for Tara’s nursery, bags and other awesome knickknacks. They could be the perfect Valentines Day gift!
Check them out!
The other day I burnt my thumb on the curling iron before heading out to a party at my sister’s house. I thought I shouldn’t waste my time looking for something to put on it and I’ll just wait till I got to her house, being a mother of 5, I was sure she had something for it. I was right! She gave me this cool burn spray and another antiseptic spray for cuts and scabs. The burn spray was amazing! Unlike Mebo which is the classic solution for burns, this didnt smell like peanuts nor did it leave a sticky residue. Instantly my thumb felt so much better and the next day the red burn mark disappeared! The antiseptic cuts spray would be great for King. He comes home every week with cuts or scabs on his legs and hands from football and refuses to let me put anything on it.
My sister got these from Dubai, I was wondering if anyone saw them here in Kuwait cause I believe they’re a must in every household!
We’re a country where we never miss out on a chance of a business opportunity, and honestly bravo. We understand that we’re a “Habba” (trend following) culture so when there is a new thing in town everyone’s interested in, everyone tries to sell it or promote it. I’m not against that, but I am against vandalizing public property to promote ur business ventures. Let’s stick to twitter and Facebook please.
For the last couple of weeks I have been having these urges to build something or craft or even paint، and I don’t mean like a cupboard or something lame/boring.
So anyways I started drawing a bit here and there, maybe if I end up actually completely finishing anything I’d post something up, however it still didn’t satisfy my need.
I tried a couple of things like fixing my bike all the way to making videos and cooking, I even bought a puzzle with queen to symbolize the building part, as enjoyable and delighting that was I still had something missing.
Finally I remembered what I used to love doing when I was way younger which was building remote control cars.
Same day I called up a friend of mine and headed straight to Tamiya at Al-Tilal complex, which I haven’t seen since probably 1995 when it was in Muthana.
After asking about I decided to go with the limited edition sexy Avante just because it was the remake of the original Avante of 1988 which was the mother of all RC cars, and which apparently I was lucky to pick the last one up.
Here are some pics of this sexy little thing with some others:
I will post other pictures when I finish assembling, at the mean time I was hoping somebody to help me pick Colors for the paint job.
Ok maybe the title isn’t as true as it seems, but seriously waking up this morning to work I did not think that watching a women’s volleyball game clip would pump me up hahah, you have to see this.
“very easy, easy, normal, hard, very hard, insane, asian” So TRUE…
I truly admired this girl for what she did, snobby player couldn’t do it himself.
Check out what she did:
King and I passed by ToysRus today to get a Jumperoo for Princess T and we were surprised at the large baby section they had. Not just toys, they had clothes, gears and strollers too. What was also nice is that they had a large baby proofing collection, we were wondering where we could get them from and 7amdilla now we know where.
They also had a cool thing u stick on ur car that alerts pedestrians when ur backing up. It’s specially helpful for us as the kids in our neighborhood are always playing in the street.
